A "good" teacherWill take place on 26th of August, 18:30 GMT+3 (https://zoom.us/j/469987209)! We will discuss questions such as - What makes one a good teacher – student\teacher perspective - Do you consider yourself a good teacher? - Tips\advice for being a good teacher - How can we tell if a student is satisfied with your teaching method? (Thank you, Stefano, for the question!) - How can we know we’ve gotten better at teaching from when we started to now (again, Stefano – thank you!) - Add yours! As well, I really want to dedicate some time to discussing some organizational issues, such as – how was the last recorded meetup, do you think it worked? In general - are we on the right track? Should we keep going? Should we keep the biweekly pace? How do we attract more teachers? Do we \ should we keep it closed for italki teachers only? Etc, etc.. So, see you soon, Yours, Alisa Teaching online vs offlineFor this meetup we decided to collect recorded contributions from different teachers, so, scroll down to see several videos! So far, the participants - Suzana (she also wrote a very extensive article about it! Here, have a look - https://www.verbling.com/articles/post/is-it-good-to-take-online-lessons) Murillo Alisa *These are the first entries, but I'm waiting for more!
The topic for our next meeting is - "ONLINE VS OFFLINE TEACHING."
And our next meet-up date was supposed to be - the 12th of August. Here, I have something to ask you. 12th of August is my birthday. And (you all understand me!) I would prefer not to spend this evening in front of the screen again... What shall I do... So... I had AN IDEA!!! [click read more - on the right! ------------------> ] |
